How to get the Rolling Guard mod in Warframe

It's faster if you roll!

Anyone who’s played Warframe for a decent amount of time knows mods are the lifeblood of any gear piece . Weapons and frames can do okay on their own, but once you install the right mods and get them synergizing with each other, you can tear through even level 100-200 enemies with ease.

One such mod can be slotted into any frame and provides great bonuses when dodging. Here’s how to get the Rolling Guard mod in Warframe.

Where to get the Rolling Guard mod in Warframe

To get the Rolling Guard mod in Warframe, you must first gain access to Arbitrations. This mode will unlock upon completing every node on the Star Chart, excluding the Jordas Golem and Mutalist Alad V Assassinate missions. Once done, the Arbitration node should appear on your Star Chart under the Operations window. When running these new missions, you want to look for Arbitration Shield Drones which, when killed, have a chance to drop Vitus Essence. You’ll also be granted Vitus Essence when completing these missions.

Once you have at least 20 Vitus Essence, head to any Relay and into the Arbiters of Hexis room, noted by a symbol on your minimap with a sword overlaying a shield. Inside you’ll find two NPCs, including one named Arbitration Honors. Speak with them, and you’ll be able to purchase the Rolling Guard mod for 20 Vitus Essence. You can also purchase a handful of other mods and goodies, though you’ll need more than 20 Vitus Essence naturally.

Is the Rolling Guard mod worth using?

At max rank, the Rolling Guard mod grants you invulnerability for three seconds and removes all Status Effects when dodging, with a seven-second cooldown. This makes it incredibly useful for tougher missions where Status Effects are spammed and is especially useful on Limbo. Provided you re-enter his rift after three seconds, you’ll have continuous protection against Status Effects.
