How to get Galvanized mods in Warframe

Interesting advantages and disadvantages.

While normal mods in Warframe often do the trick, getting the most out of your weapon and frame builds involves using some prefixed mods that come with specific buffs. For example, builds would be much weaker if not for the existence of Primed mods, which add Capacity cost in exchange for improved power.

There are others worth working for, too. Including one of the mod types used by late-game players, Galvanized mods. They’re incredibly unique, and rather challenging to acquire, but they’re worth the effort you put in. To get your own upgrades, here’s how to get Galvanized mods in Warframe.

Where to find Galvanized mods in Warframe

To get Galvanized mods, you must first complete every node on your Star Chart (excluding the Jordas Golem and Mutalist Alad V Assassinates) once. After completing every node, head to the Navigation Console and check the Alerts tab to access the current Arbitration mission. These missions function similarly to standard missions, with increased difficulty and the chance for Arbitration Shield Drones to spawn. Defeating these Shield Drones has a chance to drop Vitus Essence, and you need 20 Essence per mod. You typically get Vitus Essence when completing the Arbitration mission as well.

Once you have at least 20 Vitus Essence, head to any relay and head to the Arbiters of Hexis room, denoted by a sword symbol in front of a shield on your mini-map. This room is usually on the right side of the relay. Once there, speak to the Arbitration Honors vendor at the front door and select whichever Galvanized mod you want to purchase. Spend the Vitus Essence, and it’s yours! Keep in mind that you’ll need to level this mod manually, up to Level 10.

Are Galvanized mods worth using?

Galvanized mods offer less power to the desired stat than the regular mod, though when meeting certain conditions, they can be far stronger. Take the Galvanized Chamber mod for example, which offers 80% Multishot compared to the 90% Multishot of the Split Chamber mod. However, each kill will add 30% Multishot for 20 seconds stacking up to five times. At max stacks, this makes Galvanized Chamber give 230% Multishot. As you can see, that’s far more valuable. It’s often recommended you use these if you have the mod and the Capacity to spare.
