Breathing in the depths of the ocean isn’t an easy task, but we can solve that problem in Subnautica 2 by finding the Rebreather. This is a wonderful tool that immensely helps us conserve Oxygen, especially when we are at greater depths.

Rebreather blueprint location in Subnautica 2

Incidentally, there are multiple locations where you can find the Rebreather. However, you need to find it just once in the oceans. Once you’ve scanned the blueprint (just once), you can craft it using the required resources.

You don’t need to find the same one that I have for this guide. However, this route seemed pretty easy to explore, and it’s not that far from your lifepod. Travel southwest from your lifepod, moving along 240 degrees along the compass.

First, you’ll come across a set of debris lying on the seabed. Go past the debris, and you’ll reach the edge of a cliff where the ocean floor goes deep. You can identify the point easily by referring to the image below.

To find the Rebreather, we will have to dive deep from this point. I will advise refilling your Oxygen completely unless you want to run the risk of running out of breath. You’ll find the hatch; go inside.

Here, you’ll find a bunch of items to scan (extremely important for your base). You’ll also find the Rebreather near the hatch. Scan it, and you’ll unlock the recipe. Next, head to your base and access the Fabricator to craft the item.

How to craft the Rebreather in Subnautica 2

You can craft the Rebreather with the following resources.

Once crafted, it will be automatically equipped for your character and become functional whenever you dive into deeper waters.
