How to get the Onos in Warframe

Great firepower, right at your wrist.

The Onos is one of the two new weapons introduced in the Dante Unbound update in Warframe. It’s also an Incarnon weapon, so it’ll be even more interesting to see what potential it has. In any case, here’s how to get the Onos in Warframe, including tips for farming Vessel Capillaries.

Getting the Onos in Warframe, Dante Unbound update

To get the Onos in Warframe, you have to play the new Disruption node, Armatus, on Deimos. The blueprint for this weapon is on the B rotation, so if you want to target farm it, you have to successfully defend all four conduits for the first two rounds of the mode.

After Round Two, you only have to defend two conduits to ensure a B rotation drop. Note that it is a rare drop, and you have a 5% chance to get it. However, you also do run the chance of receiving parts for the Ruvox fists weapon.

If you are somehow unlucky and never get the Onos blueprint, you can acquire enough Vessel Capillaries to buy the blueprint for 360 units.

How to farm Vessel Capillaries

To farm Vessel Capillaries, you have to kill the Necramech Demolishers on Armatus. Depending on the difficulty, you will receive different numbers of them. These are the values:

  • Normal: 2 to 4 per kill
  • Steel Path: 5 to 7 per kill

If the Demolishers self-destruct and destroy a conduit, they will not drop the item. You have to be the one to deal the killing blow.

Onos crafting requirements

Once you have the blueprint for the weapon, these are the following resources you need to craft this item:

  • 20,000 Credits
  • 3,000 Salvage
  • 400 Necracoil
  • 2 Argon Crystals
  • 6 Entrati Lanthorn

Alternative ways to get the Onos

The other way to get the Onos is to buy it outright from the store for 180 Platinum. It’ll come fully built, with a weapon slot and an Orokin Catalyst installed.

Note that you will also need to have the Whispers in the Walls quest completed to unleash its full potential. It’s an Incarnon weapon, so it’ll have evolution states that give it additional stats.
