Head to the chicken farm on the lake
In Chapter 4 of the Resident Evil 4 remake, you’ll be tasked with getting a golden chicken egg. Well, that’s easy, right?! It depends on where you look, of course. Here’s how to easily find the golden chicken egg (and a ton more eggs while you’re at it).
The chicken farm on the lake has tons of eggs, including a golden egg
You’re going to want to gain control of the boat to get to the chicken farm. To do that, you’ll need to take down the Del Lago fish boss in the lake. Following a few short cutscenes you’ll make your way to a cave: which will task you with finding two keys to unlock another key (Resident Evil distilled!).
Once you’re out of that cave, you can command the boat around the lake. Head to the eastern portion of the lake (marked in the map above) and park your boat in the small area. There’s tons of chickens there, who can provide ample eggs for your journey. Look around the tiny zone and scoop up all the eggs: including a golden chicken egg. Sell it to the merchant to complete the request.
You can also save (or sell) all the other eggs. Just make sure not to eat the golden egg on accident before you turn in the request!
