How to get Slingbow ammo in Nightingale

No bolts or arrows needed for this bow

During your Nightingale playthrough, ranged weapons like the Slingbow can save your life in combat, especially if you’re up against a challenging enemy or need to distance yourself from a group of animals. Crafting Slingbow ammo is simple, but knowing where to make some and what the item’s called is the first step to doing so.

How to craft Slingbow ammo in Nightingale

In Nightingale, Slingbow ammo is initially known as simple rock marbles, which you can craft at a workbench early in the game using six rocks. After building your workbench using wood bundles and plant fibre, you’ll find the simple rock marble recipe among the tools list, requiring six rocks for 20 marbles.

Rocks are available around every realm, spawning on the ground in piles. Typically, one set of stones will give you around three to four crude rocks, so you’ll have to find a few to craft your first batch of rock marble ammo.

Once you’re ready to make your rock marbles, head to your simple workbench and look for the recipe. For every six rocks you use, you’ll gain 20 ammo, so it’s worth making several batches immediately to have plenty on you for combat. That way, you won’t have to return to your workbench to make more.

The exact crafting time depends on your workbench traits. However, I reduced my time to 20 seconds per batch after placing it in the wild near a campfire. Generally speaking, you’ll need around 20-30 seconds for every 20 rock marbles you make, so be prepared to spend a couple of minutes making them if you’re crafting several batches at a time.
