If you want to succeed in the many fights you’ll face in Hogwarts Legacy, you’re going to need to remember more than just a few spells and some lessons from your herbology classes. You’ll also need healing potions of the Wiggenweld variety to help keep your energy up.

Thankfully, they’re easy to access by either buying them at potion shops or crafting them yourself to save quite a bit of money. Here’s exactly how to get health potions in Hogwarts Legacy and the ingredients you’ll need to brew them.

Wiggenweld potions in Hogwarts Legacy can be bought easily. The easiest place to get them is at J. Pippin’s Potions in Hogsmeade. Simply open the map by pressing the touchpad button on PS5 (or tab over to the map screen on the menu with other consoles) and hovering over to the Hogsmeade Map. After that, spawn at the West Hogsmeade Floo Powder location by pressing square (or X on an Xbox controller). Once the game loads you back up, the potions shop will be right in front of you.

Walk right into the store and talk to Parry Pippin. Scroll down past the ingredients section of the shop, and you’ll see “Combat Tools.” Look for a green potion picture and hover over it with the cursor. These Wiggenweld potions in Hogwarts Legacy will cost you 100 gold each. If you’re strapped for cash and have loot you don’t need anymore, press the shoulder button on the shop menu to sell your unwanted items. Unfortunately, Mr. Pippins doesn’t have a potion for more XP.

If you want to save some money, you can also brew Wiggenweld potions in Hogwarts Legacy with the resources you collect around the castle grounds. You’ll need the following ingredients to create a Wiggenweld potion:

  • One glass of horklump juice.
  • One set of dittany leaves.

The horklump juice can be found in underground areas away from the sun, while dittany leaves can be bought at the potions shop mentioned earlier. Both resources should grow in the herbology classroom if you want to make a quick run for supplies. There are other ingredients like Fluxweed stems and seeds you should keep an eye on too.

You’ll need a cauldron to create a Wiggenweld potion in Hogwarts Legacy. If you haven’t accessed the Room of Requirement in the story, you’ll want to find the Potions Classroom. You can travel to it quickly by clicking on the Library Annex and finding the “Potions Classroom” Floo Flame location on the left side of the Hogwarts map. Once you’re there, find your cauldron on the left side of the area. Thankfully, it only takes 15 seconds to brew up a batch of Wiggenweld potion, but each time you finish the setup, it only gives one bottle.
