How to get the Experimental Nishina Spacesuit in Starfield

Looking for something nice to wear?

If you are always on the lookout for functional fashion in Starfield, then the Experimental Nishina Spacesuit. This is a really solid suit of armor with great stats. Looks-wise, it’s not my thing, but if you like to look like a big, cuddly space person, then this is the one for you. Now, keep in mind that it does just look like some of the standard suits in the game, so make sure you are paying attention to the stats when selling things so you don’t get rid of this thing by accident.

How to get the Experimental Nishina Spacesuit in Starfield

To get the Experimental Nishina Spacesuit, you will need to play through the campaign until you reach the Entangled mission. Finish up this mission and make sure you agree with the character called Director Patel while doing so, and the spacesuit will be yours.

Major story spoilers for the Starfield campaign lie ahead. You have been warned.

Spoiler Territory

Right. Anyone who wants to dodge spoilers has the information they need, but if you don’t care about that, we can get a bit more into the details here. In the Entangled mission, you will be dealing with a multiversal breakdown as two versions of the universe are attempting to share the same physical space. This is, as you might imagine, a bad thing, and you will end up spending time flickering back and forth between the two universes as you explore the Nishina laboratory.

You will be tasked with making things right and the means you have to destroy an entire universe. So, no big deal. No matter what you do, an entire universe is about to get the lights turned out, so you might as well agree with Director Patel and save the “prime” universe, as it were. If you do this, you get the suit of armor. This is a long and complex mission, so take your time running through it because it’s a lot of fun to play.

Experimental Nishina Spacesuit stats

  • PHYS – 89
  • ENGY – 121
  • EM – 105
  • Thermal – 15
  • Airborne – 0
  • Corrosive – 30
  • Radiation – 15

You will also have some unique traits, but these will be randomly generated at the time you get the suit. As always, if you want, you can save scum your way to the perfect suit for you by endlessly reloading this portion of the game, but it’s not really worth it, frankly.
