Genshin Impact has a huge world to explore, so it’s a good thing you have a Wind Glider that lets you soar through the air, and help you reach higher areas you normally can’t reach. If you’re not a fan of the default Glider simply because of how it looks, you’ll be happy to know there are multiple Gliders you can acquire, each with their own designs.
While their appearances vary, Genshin Impact‘s gliders all have the exact same function. So, no Glider has an inherent gameplay advantage over the other; the only reason to swap to a different one is purely for the aesthetics. Knowing that, let’s run through all the Genshin Impact gliders you can unlock, as well as how you get them and if you still can.
Every glider in Genshin Impact and how to unlock them
At the time of writing, Genshin Impact has received 13 gliders. However, only nine are currently available to unlock as the remaining four were exclusive to timed events. There is also one glider that is locked to PlayStation versions of the game. Here is the full list:

| Wings of First Flight | The default glider. You unlock this by completing the quest City of Freedom, which is part of Genshin Impact‘s prologue chapter. |
| Wings of Companionship | A free glider you receive when you first launch Genshin Impact. It comes attached to a message sent to the in-game mail box, which you gain access to by completing the quest Unexpected Power during the prologue chapter. The mail will expire after a certain amount of time has passed so be sure to claim the glider straight away. |
| Wings of Descension | A glider exclusive to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions of Genshin Impact. It should come with a message sent to your mail box when first playing the game on PlayStation. This glider can not be obtained or equipped on the mobile and PC versions. |
| Wings of Azure Wind | A glider you receive for raising your Reputation to level 8 in the Mondstadt region. You unlock Mondstadt’s Reputation system by reaching Adventure Rank 25 and completing the quest Knight of the Realm, which becomes available after completing Act 1 of the prologue chapter. You can raise your Reputation through world exploration, by completing quests, weekly bounties and requests. |
| Wings of Golden Flight | A glider you receive for raising your Reputation to level 8 in the Liyue region. You unlock Liyue’s Reputation system by reaching Adventure Rank 25 and completing the quest Ministry Missions, which becomes available after completing Chapter 1 Act 1. |
| Wings of Concealing Snow | A glider you receive for raising the Frostbearing Tree’s Gratitude to Offering Level 12. The tree can be found in the Snow-Covered Path in Dragonspine, Mondstadt, and you can raise the Offering Level by offering Crimson Agates. |
| Wings of Feasting | An exclusive glider only available as part of the Adventurers’ Guild on Twitch event from 2021. The event has long since ended, so there is currently no means of acquiring this glider. |
| Wings of the Stormstrider | A glider you receive for raising your Reputation to level 10 in the Inazuma region. You unlock Inazuma’s Reputation system by reaching Adventure Rank 25 and completing the quest The Commission’s Commission. This doesn’t become available until after you complete the quest A Flower Blooms in a Prison during Chapter 2 Act 1. |
| Wings of the Shimmering Galaxy | An exclusive glider that was sent out to players as part of an event celebrating Genshin Impact‘s first anniversary in 2021. There currently doesn’t appear to be any other way of obtaining it. |
| Wings of the Forest | A glider you receive for raising your Reputation to level 10 in the Sumeru region. You unlock Sumeru’s Reputation system by reaching Adventure Rank 25 and completing the quest Corps of Thirty Recruitment. You unlock Fontaine’s Reputation system by reaching Adventure Rank 25 and completing the quest Steambird Interview, which becomes available after you complete Chapter 4 Act 2. |
| Wings of Transient Dreams | An exclusive glider you could obtain via a redemption code during the Genshin Concert 2023 “Melodies of an Endless Journey” event, which ran from September 2023 to January 2024. There doesn’t appear to be any other way to acquire this glider. |
