After removing your mask as a Hollow, you will become Arrancar and therefore will need a weapon. The weapon you get is based on what you get from your Hollow Box. Here is how to get and use your Hollow Box in Type Soul.
How to get a Hollow Box in Type Soul
To get a Hollow Box in Type Soul, you must first be a Hollow, as it is only available to them. Next, you need to participate in and win a Karakura Town Raid. These occur every hour based on the in-game time. Your best bet is to jump to a server that has not yet completed it and participate in the raid.
30 minutes after successfully winning the raid, head to Karakura Town. Run along the outer road and on the right you will see a two-story gray house with an NPC with white hair standing on the second-floor balcony, as seen in the screenshot above. This NPC will not spawn before the 30-minute mark after the raid completes.
She will not speak to you if you do not win the raid, in which case you will have to wait until the top of the hour and try again. If you did win, talk to her and there are a few items you can purchase, including the Hollow Box, for 40,000 Kan. It’s not guaranteed she will sell the Hollow Box, at which point you simply need to win another raid and try again, as the wares she sells are random each time she spawns.
It’s also possible to randomly get a Hollow Box as a reward for winning a Raid, however, it’s a rare reward.
How to use your Hollow Box
Once you have the Hollow Box in your inventory, it’s yours. Dying will not cause the box to drop or despawn, and there is no timer on when you have to open it by. To use your Hollow Box, simply interact with it. It will then randomly generate a Hollow Weapon for you. Here are all the Hollow Weapons you can get from a Hollow Box:
- Barragan’s Axe
- Grimmjow’s Claws
- Harribel’s Dagger
- Neliel’s Lance
- Nnoitra’s Scythe
- Ulquoirra’s Katana
- Wonderweiss’s Sword
The weapon you get is completely random. If you’re not happy with the Hollow Weapon you got, simply get back to completing Karakara Town Raids so you can purchase another Hollow Box and open it for a chance at another weapon.
