Crafting a wrench in LEGO Fortnite requires getting your hands on three wooden rods and one cord. Once you have both materials, head to a crafting table and search your tools list until you find the wrench at the bottom. Craft it here to have it appear in your inventory and ready to use.
These crafting materials are easy to find in the early game after building two structures. The first part is creating wooden rods, which require a lumber mill. After collecting eight wood and 15 granite, build a lumber mill to unlock recipes for rods and planks. From here, you just need a few extra wood to make your rods.
Next, you’ll make cords at a spinning wheel. The spinning wheel requires multiple resources, including planks, wooden rods, and wolf claws. Fortunately, you have the lumber mill to make the rods and planks, while wolf claws drop from wolves you encounter in the wild. Farm enough of these materials to make the wheel, before using vines from bushes to make your cords.

The wrench allows you to customize activation switches and thrusters on custom-made vehicles. To use the wrench, build a thruster or activation switch and hit it with your wrench to bring up a channels menu.
