How to find a Dunebopper in Disney Dreamlight Valley

The Disney take on a Mudskipper

After unlocking Goofy’s Stall on Eternity Isle in Disney Dreamlight Valley, he’ll have another request for you and, no surprise, he’s after some fish that he’s missing. One of these fish, the Dunebopper, can seem pretty elusive but we can help you track it down.

There are a lot of new areas to unlock on Eternity Isle and every one of them needs a certain amount of Mist in order to open. One of them, The Oasis within the Glittering Dunes, is the only location where you can catch a Dunebopper.

This lush little pocket within the desert can be found up the stairs behind the default position of Goofy’s Stall in the Glittering Dunes, with another path inside the cave which leads to Gaston’s little tent. The Oasis costs 6000 Mist to unlock, and it’s likely the last part of the desert biome that you’ll have left to unlock.

If you’re low on Mist, you can earn some by using your Royal Hourglass to get rid of Swirling Sand, remove Splinters of Fate or by completing Mist Duties in the same way you would complete Dreamlight Duties.

The Dunebopper can only be caught by fishing in blue fishing spots within The Oasis, so once you’ve unlocked the location, head there and check for blue spots.

If there aren’t any, clear away current fishing spots and more will (eventually) spawn in their place. Eventually, you’ll get at least one blue fishing spot that’s guaranteed to provide you with the Dunebopper that Goofy is hunting for.

Alternatively, if you’re looking to make some money through fishing, the Dunebopper sells for 550 Star Coins each.
