Tunneling through challenges
Missions are a crucial aspect of any game, providing an exciting opportunity to test one’s skills, earn rewards, and engage in hours of fun and intense battles. Call of Duty: Warzone 2’s DMZ mode offers players the chance to play various missions, categorized into different tiers for different factions in the game.
One such mission is The Smuggling Tunnels, which is classified as a Tier 2 mission for the White Lotus faction. Similar to other missions in DMZ, The Smuggling Tunnels comprises three objectives: locating the tunnels, placing tactical cameras to watch two of the entrances in one deployment, and extracting in the same deployment.
Even though the mission is not particularly challenging, there are still some important details you should be aware of. So let’s begin without any delay.
Locate the Smuggling Tunnels
To begin the mission, your first task is to locate the tunnels themselves. This network of caves can be found to the north of the Zarqwa Hydroelectric, and it is also a permanent Stronghold on the Al Mazrah map. While the primary entrance is located in the main building and can be accessed via ladders, there are four other entrances you can choose from to enter the tunnels. It is crucial to bring a Stronghold Key with you, which can be obtained by either purchasing it from Buy Stations or acquiring it by eliminating Al Soldiers. Once inside, the first objective will be marked as completed.
Place Tactical Cameras watching two of the entrances
The second objective of the mission requires you to place Tactical Cameras at two entrances, while in the same deployment. It is important to note that these entrances can be any of the available ones indicated on the map above. While placing a camera is a straightforward task, obtaining one can be challenging. You can equip one Tactical Camera as your field upgrade in your loadout before spawning on the map. However, you need another camera to complete the objective.
The best way to obtain another camera is to bring a teammate with you who can do the same. Otherwise, be prepared for a hard time finding an additional camera, as they are rare and difficult to come by. Once both cameras are placed and are watching two different entrances of the tunnels, the second objective will be marked as completed. Finally, all that remains is to exfil through the nearest extraction point in the same deployment.
