Disney Dreamlight Valley is about sharing joy with others, from completing friendship quests to giving your villagers their favorite gifts. During the game’s Summer Sizzle event, you’ll get another opportunity to show your care by collecting and sharing Marshmallows in exchange for a special reward.
You’re given quite a few missions to tackle in this event, but not actually told what needs to be done for most of them, as is the case with Share Some Sweetness. If you’re stumped and unsure what needs to be done for this one, here’s how to complete Share Some Sweetness in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to finish the Share Some Sweetness duty in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Completing the Share Some Sweetness duty requires finding Marshmallows, turning them into Roasted Marshmallows, and sharing them with your villagers during the Summer Sizzle event. You’ll need Pink and Blue Marshmallows to make the meal, which you can then gift to any character in Dreamlight Valley.
This task specifically asks you to give 25 Roasted Marshmallows to villagers. The Summer Sizzle event introduces two marshmallow recipes, which are S’mores and Roasted Marshmallows. For the purposes of this specific duty, though, you can only give away Roasted Marshmallows.
Hold onto any S’mores you make to tackle the Savor Some Sweetness duty instead, as you’ll need to eat 25 to get your second reward. Gifting any S’mores here won’t count toward the Share Some Sweetness mission.
If you participated in past runs of this event, you may have some leftover S’mores, Roasted Marshmallows, and regular Marshmallows. This year’s versions are the same, so take advantage of this by using up the rest of last year’s items before farming for more. If you’re lucky, you’ll have enough to finish most of the task.
Roasted Marshmallows recipe

You can make Roasted Marshmallows using the following recipes:
- Two Blue Marshmallows
- Two Pink Marshmallows
Once you have each item, use them in a cooking pot to create the dish. Repeat this 25 times to get everything you need for the Share Some Sweetness duty. You can then gift them to your villagers to finish the task and get a cosmetic prize.
How to find Marshmallows in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Marshmallows are only available during the Summer Sizzle event, which lasts from Aug. 5 to 18. You’ll get them by harvesting the Marshmallow bushes that spawn around the Plaza and Peaceful Meadow regions.

Once the Summer Sizzle event begins, you’ll unlock camping-related furniture and items alongside marshmallow plants and randomized floor spawns. You’ll encounter both Marshmallow types after logging into DDV during the event, making them easily accessible even for new players.
Share Some Sweetness reward in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Successfully completing the Share Some Sweetness duty unlocks the Birding Top item as a reward. It’s a fun neckwear accessory item you can throw on top of most outfits in DDV. For additional exclusive prizes, be sure to check off Deliver Some Sweetness and Savor Some Sweetness next.
You have to cook and gift quite a lot for this mission, but luckily, it’s one you can continue to work on even after the event concludes as long as you stock up on enough Marshmallows to use. If not, you can also wait to complete it until 2027, as this event has returned every year since it first started in 2024.
