Immediately after entering the Laugh Floor in Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Monsters, Inc. Realm, you’ll help Sulley and Mike Wazowski tidy up the place before asking them to join your village. While Sulley is eager to tag along, Mike has one goal, leading into the Eye on the Prize quest.
Disney Dreamlight Valley Eye on the Prize quest walkthrough
Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Eye on the Prize quest begins immediately after repairing the Laugh Floor’s electrical panel and saving Mike. Sulley will agree to return to Dreamlight Valley if Mike also joins. Talking to Mike after this interaction starts the Eye on the Prize quest, where he’ll task you with helping him set a new joke high score.
Search reception for keycards
The first part of this quest is finding keycards to open various doors that will appear in future objectives. Before you can find them, you’ll need a toolset to open jammed doors. On the Laugh Floor, head to the far back corner until you see two red toolboxes before interacting with the sparkling one and grabbing the MIFT toolkit.
Once you have your tools, go to the Monsters, Inc. Realm’s main foyer and interact with the door with the no-entry sign. After opening the door, go through the corridor until you reach the main reception desk to find the stack of keycards on the desk corner. Pick these up and return to Mike to continue through the Eye on the Prize quest.
Search for clues behind bay F2, F3, and F4 doors
Once you have the stack of keycards, return to Mike Wazowski to start the next part of the quest. With these, you’ll go through the F2, F3, and F4 doors to search for clues so Mike can make each child laugh.
For the F2 room, you’ll have to find three circus-related drawings on the room’s walls and interact with them. The first two, the elephant and clown, are on the walls near the bed and exit door, while the third is behind the curtain near the entrance. Select all three to discover your clues and move on to the next room.
The F3 room is similar to F2, with you searching for three clues around the room. This time, you need to take pictures of space-related items. Two are posters and paintings on the walls, while the third is glowing stars on the ceiling. Snap pictures of all three to move on to the final room.
Bay room F4 is slightly different from the rest, as you need to grab a physical item to give to Mike. Upon entering, you’ll see dirty laundry all over the floor, which you can interact with to clear away. Clear out every pile until you see a whoopee cushion, which you’ll give Mike to finish this part of the quest.
Once you return to Mike, you’ll complete another part of the Eye on the Prize quest, leading into the third and final act.
Find red, blue, and green soda for Mike Wazowski
The last challenging part of Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Eye on the Prize quest is finding three red, blue, and green soda cans. To find the first two, return to the Monsters, Inc. Realm’s main foyer and interact with the two vending machines next to the coffee station. While the red one opens just fine, the other requires turning on the light switch beside the machine. Doing this gives you the red and blue soda and extra food for energy or Star Coins.
To get the green soda can, head through the reception area again to spot a broken vending machine down the corridor. Break this with your pickaxe to have a green soda can appear, allowing you to pick it up and return to Mike to begin wrapping up the quest.
Welcome Sulley and Mike to Dreamlight Valley
After giving Mike the three soda cans, you’ll begin finishing the Eye on the Prize quest. From here, talk to Mike to have him agree to move into Dreamlight Valley, leading to you placing down his and Sulley’s apartment building and paying a 20,000 Star Coin construction fee. Upon doing this, Sulley will immediately return, with Mike joining after you take a quick selfie with him.
Now that you have unlocked Sulley and Mike Wazowski, you have officially completed Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Eye on the Prize quest.
