How to unlock the Monster’s Inc. Realm in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Your first step to unlocking Sulley and Mike is to open the Monster’s Inc. Realm in Dream Castle for 10,000 Dreamlight. After arriving in Dream Castle, climb the stairwell until you find a door covered in night thorns next to the Beauty and the Beast Realm. Once you interact with the door and confirm your choice, you’ll unlock the realm, allowing you to meet Sulley and Mike for the first time after a brief introductory quest.
How to unlock Sulley and Mike Wazowski in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Before you can unlock Sulley and Mike to your Disney Dreamlight Valley village, you’ll have to complete two initial quests:
- Escape Claws
- Eye on the Prize
When you first unlock the Monsters Inc. Realm, you’ll immediately begin Escape Claws, with Eye on the Prize following. Once you complete both quests and build Mike and Sulley’s apartment for 20,000 Star Coins, they’ll arrive in Dreamlight Valley for you to meet and talk to.
You’ll initially begin the Escape Claws quest by unlocking the door to the Laugh Floor by searching for a monster disguise in a nearby storage container. Once you enter the realm, turn right to find this wardrobe and a clothing bag, which you can open to find the disguise and open the door. You’ll find multiple quest objectives from here, including making coffee for Sulley and Mike and repairing electrical fuse boxes.
Upon finishing these objectives, Sulley will agree to join Dreamlight Valley but asks that you convince Mike first. This conversation leads into the Eye on the Prize quest, where you’ll help Mike find clues to making children laugh and search for red, blue, and green soda cans. After wrapping this up, he’ll ask you to place their apartment down, leading into the two joining your Disney Dreamlight Valley village.
