Fortnite’s Treasure Hunters mini-season has introduced all kinds of epic scavenger hunts to tackle around the island. One of these hunts is tied to map fragments, with the very first quest you need to tackle asking you to collect a map fragment at The $.$. Rocky.
Even in a mini-season like this one, the island is still pretty large, which means there are lots of places you have to carefully search to find quest items. It’s a fairly daunting task to take on, so if you’re struggling with this one, here’s how to collect a map fragment at The $.$. Rocky in Fortnite Treasure Hunters.

You can find the map fragment at The $.$. Rocky near the far southern end of this key POI in Fortnite. Specifically, it’s located in a room found on the lower levels of the large ship docked at this location.
To find the map fragment, land at The $.$. Rocky, which can be found near the middle eastern end of the island. Once you’re there, make your way over to the large grey ship if you didn’t land directly on it.
Head inside the ship, then make your way down to the lower levels. As you’re working on this, you’ll spot a small white diamond icon with an exclamation point in it. This icon marks the precise location of the map fragment found here, so focus on getting closer to it as you descend.
If you’re having trouble finding staircases that lead lower, consider simply breaking the floor beneath you to reach the right spot more quickly. The map fragment can be found sitting near a crate inside a room situated on the lower levels near the southern end of the ship.
