One of the biggest features of the Treasure Hunters season in Fortnite is now live, and we can finally access the Pirate Shop. While it might look like the standard shop, there’s a key difference: everything you find inside is available for free. That’s right, you can pick anything you want without any additional resources.
But first, you’ll need to get access to the shop.

How to access the Pirate Shop in Fortnite Treasure Hunters
The Pirate Shop can be obtained between Nov. 1 and Dec. 5, throughout the course of the season. Any item you find inside that requires you to spend V-Bucks can be obtained for free. To gain access, you’ll need to find Pirate Shop Tokens.
These are special tokens that are of two types. One of them allows you to activate anytime between now and Dec. 15 of this year. The other one can be activated anything between Jan. 1 and Dec. 15 of next year.
Once you activate a token, you have 14 days to claim everything you can find in the Item Shop. Only bundles and items that cost real-life money will be an exception to this rule, but it’s still a wonderful opportunity.
How to get Pirate Shop Tokens in Fortnite Treasure Hunters
To find these valuable tokens, you’ll need to watch out for special chests. These chests don’t have fixed locations, and their odds appear to be quite low. Once you manage to find one, open them. If you’re lucky, you’ll receive access to the Pirate Shop as a treasure.
If you’re playing as a squad, you just need to find one treasure. Access will be granted to all members of a squad as long as one of them has managed to get the tokens. This also incentivizes you to play the season in squads since you’ll have higher chances (theoretically).
