The secret to capturing the Panthalus is locked behind reaching the new Sunreach Island first. You can access it from the Feybreak Tower, where a portal is located on top of it. Access the tower, and you’ll reach Sunreach.

The first task is to disable the barrier by interacting with six terminals. The terminals are located all over the island. Once you deactivate them, you’ll be able to access the boss tower at Sunreach.

Here, you’ll go up against Auri and Shaolong. This will be a pretty tricky boss fight, but not too difficult if you’re at the correct player level.

Next, speak with Auri, and she will briefly tell you about the World Tree. You’ll also find the location of the Panthalus. When you go to the location, you’ll find an NPC. He will give you a task to find four giant remains from four different spots.

Thankfully, all four spots are near the towers so you can simply teleport. Find all four remains, and go to your base to craft the Echoing Flute. Take the flute, return to the NPC located at the Panthalus Shrine, and use it. This will trigger the boss fight.

To capture Panthalus, you’ll need to defeat it. It’s a level 70 boss fight, and you’ll need to watch out for its attacks. The Panthalus has a giant crystal on its head, and shooting at that will do more damage. However, stay clear of the incoming tidal waves that it creates. If you get trapped in the wave, you’ll take a fair bit of damage.

During the second phase, you’ll reach close to the Panthalus. It will take more damage, but be careful of its body slam attack attempts. Once it loses all its health, you can use a Pal Sphere to capture it.

Once you have Panthalus in your squad, go to the marked location on the map. As you approach the World Tree, you’ll find a terminal close by. Interact with it to open the gates, and you can then enter the location.
