Holofoil Hours will be the new Power Hour event in Fortnite, and it’s the best period for you to grab hold of the new Holofoil Sprites. Holofoils are the newest additions to Chapter 7, Season 3, and they can be found all over the map/chests. However, the rate for them to spawn will significantly go up during the Power Hour.

Fortnite Holofoil Hours release countdown
Holofoil Hours will be live on Saturday, July 11. Just like all previous Power Hours, it will be available in two separate batches, with each lasting for two hours. The first countdown below will expire once the first Holofoil Hour is live.
The countdown is based on the following times.
- 11am PT
- 1pm CT
- 2pm ET
- 6pm UTC
- 7pm BST
- 8pm CEST
Once live, it will be live for two hours. During that time, there will be special perks active for you. If you miss out on this window or have no luck, relax, for there will be a second window. The following countdown will expire once the second Holofoil Hour is active.

What to expect from Holofoil Hours in Fortnite
You’ll get to enjoy boosted chances for finding all Holofoil Sprites during the Power Hour. But that’s not all, and the following changes will be active during the specified hours.
- Everyone will begin with a Self-Revive Device.
- Everyone will have the Shock Rock effect.
- Increased jump height for Shock Rock, and the item also drops more frequently during the event hours.
