As you work through Star Path events in Disney Dreamlight Valley, you’ll encounter all kinds of unique missions that require you to solve fairly vague goals. One of these types of quests asks you to buy spicy seeds.
Around the main valley and DLC worlds, there are over 100 unique ingredients you can get, most of which can be grown from seeds. Plenty of them are technically spicy, but for the purposes of this duty, there’s only one item that counts. If you’re unsure what it is, here’s how to buy spicy seeds in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

What are spicy seeds in Disney Dreamlight Valley?
The spicy seeds you need to get for the Paw-fect Romance Star Path duty are Chili Pepper Seeds. This mission is part of the week two routine duties, which are focused on gathering some key pasta ingredients, so Chili Pepper Seeds are the correct ones to purchase.
You can buy Chili Pepper Seeds from Goofy’s Stall in the Sunlit Plateau biome. Each bag costs 20 Star Coins. If you also have the A Rift in Time DLC, Chili Pepper Seeds can be bought from Goofy’s Stall in the Glittering Dunes region, too.
There are plenty of other ingredients you might consider to be spicy, like Black Pepper or Paprika, but no other officially count for this event duty. Star Path quests often hone in on one specific item, even if multiple technically match the description, so whenever you end up stuck trying to figure out what’s needed for a specific quest, this might be why.
Buy spicy seeds in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To complete the buy spicy seeds mission, you need to purchase a total of 15 Chili Pepper Seeds. There are no additional steps for this quest, so don’t worry about planting, watering, and harvesting this crop. As soon as you’ve bought the required amount, this specific duty will check off as complete, which means you can move on to other missions.
Since each bag costs 20 Star Coins, you’ll have to spend a total of 300 Star Coins for this duty. You get 50 Tokens for completing this quest, which is a huge reward for the very minimal effort you have to put into it. The prize you get from this one is a massive help for claiming those bigger Star Path event prizes, like the Dream Styles and Companion.
Although you do get a lot of Tokens for finishing this mission, there are still many rewards that will require even more of them. Luckily, there are also plenty of other Star Path missions you can work on to quickly rack up lots of additional points. If you’re not sure what to tackle next, consider working on some tricky missions like dressing up in your Mickey Mouse ears, mining for black stones, chatting with a villager named after a flower, and selling green veggies.
