How to breed Hoola in My Singing Monsters

I am deeply unsettled by this thing.

My Singing Monsters has a peculiar charm about it. There is something unnerving about the creatures that populate the various Islands and produce surprisingly catchy music. While there are many horrific creatures to choose from, Hoola might just be the one that wigs me out the most, and not just because she looks like the daughter of Looney Tunes‘ Gossamer.

All about My Singing Monsters’ Hoola

Hoola is a special Seasonal Monster that can be bred on the Earth and Air Islands during the SummerSong celebration. Summersong runs from mid-July through mid-August and for a brief window at the end of January for the Out of Season reprisal.

For the best shot at adding Hoola to your collection, breed PomPom and Pango on either Earth or Air Island during either timeframe. Hoola has two other variations: Rare Hoola and Epic Hoola. Rare Hoola can be acquired by the same breeding as its base version. Epic Hoola has three potential breeding options:

  • Riff and Fwog on Air Island
  • Quarrister and Dandidoo on Earth Island
  • Schmoochle and Yool on Seasonal Shanty

Once bred and hatched, Hoola can be teleported to the Seasonal Shanty upon reaching level 15. With a Hoola on Seasonal Shanty, Hoola can be bred with any of the following monsters at any time of the year for a chance at receiving another Hoola:

  • Gobbleygourd
  • Clavavera
  • Viveine
  • Carillong
  • Whiz-bang
  • Monculus
  • Ffidyll
  • Boo’qwurm
  • Spurrit

Hoola’s likes

Placing any of the following monsters or items near Hoola will increase her happiness by 25%. For those who don’t want to perform a mental jigsaw with placement, plop down a Unity Tree on the Island to remove the proximity restrictions.

  • Tweedle (Monster)
  • SummerSong Path (Decoration)
  • Tree Hut (Decoration)
  • Tree Forte Tower (Decoration)
  • Castanevine (Decoration)

It appears that the other monsters in My Singing Monsters share my apprehension regarding Hoola. The only other monster that receives a 25% happiness boost around Hoola is Rare Hoola.
