How to Become a Demon in Slayers 2 – Muzan Quest

Becoming a demon in Slayers 2 requires you to complete Muzan’s Quest at low Reputation. I’ll show you a step-by-step guide on how to do so as well as give you tips so that you can complete it as soon as possible as early as Level 4. Here’s how to become a Demon in Slayers 2 and finish Muzan’s Quest.

Here’s a step-by-step guide on becoming a Demon via the Muzan Quest in Slayers 2:

Quick Note: In addition to this step-by-step guide, be sure to check out some important tips below this guide before you start this quest. For example, they’ll show you why you want to become a demon as early as possible.

• The first step is to get to -40 Reputation at which point Muzan invites you for the Demon/Muzan quest.
• The easiest way to do so is to defeat Civilians in the starting village for -1 Rep each.
• Only go after the NPCs named “Civilian” and not the icon-marked Quest NPCs nor the “*Civilian*” with the star character in their name since these are tied to quests.
• With every -10 Reputation you get until -40, Muzan’s message will pop up on the left.
• Once you get Muzan’s prompt at -40 Reputation, you need to find him at night at one of the few possible locations to start the Demon quest.
• The two closest and easily accessible locations from the starting village are the Mist Village and Snow Village (He only appears during nighttime).
  • Mist Village Location
    • Head out West from the starting village gate and down the slope toward the shrine gate leading into a short downward tunnel.
    • Once you’re out of the shrine gate tunnel, go right, drop down, and head forward through the area with trees.
    • Keep going forward (you’ll pass a bridge on your left) until you see another shrine gate between two towers, so simply enter and you’re at the Mist Village.
    • Muzan will patrol the first few paths here at night (Look around for him and server hop if you need to until you find him or check Snow Village).
  • Snow Village Location
    • Same as with the Mist Village, you want to head out of the starting village via the West gate and go down the slope toward the shrine gate.
    • Go down the tunnel and once you’re out go left (this is the area with the bears) and just keep heading forward toward the two shrine gates leading into the snowy area (You’ll start taking damage from the cold but you can set your spawn at the Snow Village if you die).
    • Once you’re past the second gate where “Old Trapper Retsu” sits, go up the slope in front of you and immediately head left up another slope.
    • Keep climbing these slopes until you see the yellow hair NPC icon for the Iceveil Guard Shiro so just keep heading toward this icon to reach the Snow Village.
    • Once you reach him you’re at the Snow Village so remember to set your location here via the purple crystal near him.
    • Muzan will patrol the area at night from the spawn crystal up toward the Shrine gate near it and beyond across the stone bridge to the area where the Domae boss spawns.
• Either way you meet Muzan, he’ll give you a quest to gather Spider Lilies and bring them to Dr. Higoshima.
• You can find Spider Lilies scattered around the Bamboo Grove Sanctuary when you head out from the starting village West gate, go down the slope toward the shrine gate and then leap down on the right to the area with trees (In front of the Mist Village gate – There’s even one at the start of Mist Village).
• Just keep walking around Bamboo Grove Sanctuary on the cliffs near the water as well as across the bridge at the little house (There are several spawn locations and you can’t miss them on the ground).
• Once you have all the Spider Lilies, just deliver them to Dr. Higoshima on the top of a pillar/mountain east of the Grove Sanctuary.
• You’ll need the Wall Climb and Double Jump skills here (M > Skill Tree).
• Now that you’re a demon, each level you get pumps up your Demon progression stats which is why you want to become a demon as soon as possible.

Slayers 2 Demon/Muzan Quest Important Tips

Here are some miscellaneous recommendations and tips for the Slayers 2 Muzan/Demon quest:

• I highly recommend becoming a Demon at the lowest possible level that you can since you want to grind demon progression early before you level up too much as a human so that you have more room to progress your demonic stats (Practically the lowest level required is to unlock the “Wall Climb” skill you need to reach Dr. Higoshima for the Muzan Quest).
• I also recommend either having the Kamado clan for sun immunity or doing the starter village Moldy Sugar delivery quest (Pink hair NPC icon) to unlock the shop NPC (Stock rotates hourly) and buy The Sun Hat (Both of these make Demon players immune to sunlight so that you can progress more easily).
• Once you reach a location where Muzan spawns via the guide above, be sure to utilize server hopping if you can’t find him.
• Spider Lilies are easily farmed on a private server since there are a lot of people gathering them on public servers.
• An easy way to grind demon progression is via the Weak Souls that bears drop near the starting village as well as the Mother Bear boss (World Bosses give you more but farming bears is faster and easier).
• You can buy the 2x Soul gamepass in the shop to speed up progression even more.
