One of the biggest features of the Treasure Hunters season in Fortnite is now live, and we can finally access the Pirate Shop. While it might look like the standard store, there’s a key difference: everything you find inside is available for free.
That’s right, you can pick anything you want from the shelves without any additional resources. But first, you need to get access to the shop.

How to access the Pirate Shop in Fortnite Treasure Hunters
You can gain access to the Pirate Shop between Nov. 1 and Dec. 5, throughout the course of the Treasure Hunters season. You can obtain any item inside the store priced in V-Bucks for free. To gain access, you need to find Pirate Shop Tokens.
These special tokens come in two types. One of them allows you to activate it any time until Dec. 15, 2026. You can activate the other at any point between Jan. 1 and Dec. 15, 2027.
Once you activate a token, you have 14 days to claim everything you can find in the Item Shop. Bundles and items that cost real-life money are an exception to this rule, but it’s still a wonderful opportunity.
How to get Pirate Shop Tokens in Fortnite Treasure Hunters
To find these valuable tokens, you’ll need to watch out for special chests. These chests don’t have fixed locations, and their odds appear to be quite low. Once you find one, open them. If you’re lucky, you’ll receive access to the Pirate Shop as a reward.
If you’re playing as a squad, you just need to find one treasure chest. All teammates will receive access to the Pirate Shop as long as one of them has obtained the tokens. This also incentivizes you to play the season in squads, since you’ll (theoretically) have higher chances to hit gold.
