Hot PC deals: 25% off Final Fantasy XV and 38% off Zodiac Age

Riding these deals off to the sunset

It’s a good day to be a Final Fantasy fan on the PC as a double whammy Final Fantasy deals arrived today. Released earlier today, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age is now available on the PC while Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition is now available for pre-order. Both titles are performing quite well in the sales department as well: The Zodiac Age is currently the top selling game on Steam Store, while the pre-order copy of FFXV is at the #5 top-selling slot.

PC gamers looking to pick up either title can enjoy a sizable discount, though they are both limited time offer. For Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age, all major digital retailers have extended the same 20% off launch discount offered by Square Enix on Steam Store (this includes the Day 1 Edition bonus as well) – but at GMG, you can stack a currently running sitewide coupon to take a further 22% off Final Fantasy XII The Zodiac Age, bringing the PC port down to only $31.19 – a strong 38% off discount for release day (though you can make an argument that Square Enix probably had this priced too high right off the bat).

On the more highly anticipated side of things, Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition is now available at all major authorized retailers and GMG is currently running a limited time 25% off coupon specifically for pre-order of FFXV. The code EARLYBIRD25 brings the game down to only $37.49, which is gearing up to be one of the biggest PC port of the year.

In fact, in a show of the Windows Edition capabilities, Square Enix has released a benchmark tool ahead of the game’s early March release so you can gauge how well your PC performs with the game before you fork over the cash.

Update 3/6/18: Now that both games are released, discount have changed and we’ve updated them above. You still get 22% off FFXV and 25% off Zodiac Age.

Coupon Expiration

Both coupon codes expire on February 9 but note that the 20% off launch discount for Zodiac Age is ending earlier on February 8 – so you won’t be getting the benefit of stacking discount come February 9.

PC Port Content Details

The Windows Edition of Final Fantasy XV will come with all the DLC and the new Royal Edition content (new dungeon Insomnia City Ruins, Royal Vessel, and tons of additional content) – though it will not include upcoming DLC (aka the “Season 2” stuff for Final Fantasy XV).

For The Zodiac Age, purchasing the game during release week nets you three audio tracks and an exclusive wallpaper as a “Day One Edition” offer. It’s nothing amazing, but at least you’re rewarded with some content for being an early adopter.
