What? What? America’s sweetheart Keanu Reeves is in Cyberpunk 2077.

“A while back the guys from CD Projekt Red approached me for Cyberpunk,” Reeves said on-stage at Microsoft’s E3 2019 press conference. “They were going on and on about how they were creating this vast open world…with customization through in-game choices. I’m always drawn to fascinating stories.”

In the game, Keanu is playing a “legendary” rockerboy, Johnny Silverhand, who’s described as “one of the key characters of Cyberpunk 2077.” He provided a full-body motion-capture performance for the role. At E3, someone yelled out “you’re breathtaking” – to which he replied back, “No, you’re breathtaking.” It was a very pure moment, one bound to make every E3 2019 highlight reel.

He’s just so gosh-darned lovable.

Along with the cinematic trailer for E3 – which is absolutely worth a watch for the mantis blade action alone – CD Projekt also put the Cyberpunk 2077 collector’s edition up for pre-order across PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It’s coming in hot at $249.99. Something tells me this is going to sell out fast.

As shown in this unboxing video, the collector’s edition comes first and foremost with a 10″ statue of protagonist V. There’s also an art book, a compendium, a fancy case, pins, patches, and an annotated visitor’s guide for Night City.

Cyberpunk 2077 releases for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on April 16, 2020. We’re so in.
