We’ve seen chocobos. We’ve seen cactuars. Now we need a glimpse of that other Final Fantasy staple, the obligatory Cid. This week’s Shonen Jump magazine delivers the goods, with a brand new Cid for Final Fantasy XIII. Check out the scan for more.
XIII‘s Cid Raines is a brigadier of some sort of military group, unconnected with the PSICOM regime that we already know about. He looks much younger than some of the other Cid’s we’ve seen, and he also appears to possess a sword very similar to Lightning’s, perhaps hinting at playable possibilities.
Final Fantasy XIII is just around the corner in Japan, with a March 9 2010 on the cards for we Westerners. I’m quite looking forward to it.
