Here’s what Atomic Games’ XBLA shooter Breach looks like

As far as I can tell, that is a picture depicting a guy about to shoot some poor fool who is already falling to his death. He was the baddest of bad dudes, so it’s okay to kill him twice. Honest!

This is Breach, a multiplayer first-person shooter from Six Days in Fallujah developer Atomic Games. Its big “hey, look at me!” feature is destructible environments and being able to use half-destroyed bits of scenery as cover. Also, you’ll play as a CIA Special Activities Division officer. Okay, I guess.

Nothing we haven’t seen in Red Faction: Guerrilla or even Battlefield: Bad Company 2, for that matter, but this level of destruction has never really been attempted on Xbox LIVE Arcade, which is where Breach will be exclusively found.

I’m going to buy Breach for one reason: to reenact that scene in Commando where Matrix blows up the same three buildings twenty different times.
