Nostalgia’s a hell of a drug, eh? Nintendo’s banking on it this fall when it releases the Mini NES for $60. It doesn’t seem like a risky venture, though; it feels like a smart one. This thing will sell like hotcakes.

Still not convinced? Would a totally tubular ’80s-styled video change your mind? There’s a laser grid and that neon purple aesthetic that makes it look like it jumped right out of David Hasselhoff’s “True Survivor” video. Although, even Hoff’s synthwave ballad was just released last year. Everyone’s cashing in on the coolest decade in history!*
