Have you seen Final Fantasy XV’s malboro? Terrifying

Bad breath

Ah, the days when the sight of a drooling malboro brought with it dread. This encounter is looking as if Final Fantasy XV will recapture that worry. With the push towards realism and the large scope of the world, it needs believable encounters more than additional grinding. This looks intimidating. It seems already like Final Fantasy XV is treating its monsters more like local wildlife than out of place, separate screen encounters. I think that’s a good look.

Final Fantasy XV is confirmed for 2016 release (PS4, Xbox One) and we might get an even more specific date this weekend at PAX Prime in Seattle.
