Halo 3 hits the PC next week

It joins the Master Chief Collection

Halo: The Master Chief Collection is slowly adding games to its lineup on PC, and Halo 3 will arrive as soon as next week: July 14, to be exact.

The date was announced by way of a new teaser video for this now-13-year-old game, which reminds us that the new edition is “optimized for PC.” Microsoft confirms that the original 11 missions and 24 maps are intact for this port, on top of all of the Master Chief Collection extras and fixins. Currently the collection has Halo 1 + 2 (that just makes sense!) and Reach, with Halo 4 and ODST currently catching pending release dates.

As a reminder, we’ll see more of Halo Infinite this month on July 24 during the Xbox stream.
