Halo 2 Anniversary isn’t coming anytime soon

A rumor recently surfaced that 343 Industries was working on a Halo 2 Anniversary Edition for the Xbox 360, much akin to 2011’s Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary.

Don’t get too excited though, as the website The Halo Council has confirmed via a 343 Q&A that this isn’t the case. When asked, 343 simply said, “We are not working on that at this time. We are kind of busy.”

Well, that makes perfect sense! 343 is mighty busy with Halo 4, and you can bet there will be years of Halo 4 DLC to follow. I wouldn’t mind a Halo 2 remake so I could relive my semi-professional FPS glory days, but I can wait.
