The folks at Neversoft have got to be getting tired of working on Guitar Hero titles. How about a game with more action, something with a little shooting, eh?

According to a job listing found on LinkedIn, the developer is currently looking for experienced level builders to help work on a “new action shooter game.” The work would involve helping to “create realistic levels by bringing concept art to life.”

It’s crazy to think that Activision would have Neversoft working on a Call of Duty-related title; doesn’t it already have like 15 other studios for that? In my wildest dreams, maybe this is referring to a sequel to its open-world third-person western shooter, Gun. With the recent success of Red Dead Redemption, it seems like the kind of thing Activision as a publisher would want to capitalize on.

So anyone out there interested in Gun 2 or what?
