Ralph’s got a history of getting jealous when others try to become close friends with Vanellope, and it seems like he might be falling back into his old ways in Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Green Monster, Inc. quest. It’s up to you to help him work through these feelings and maintain the peace.
Helping Ralph manage his jealousy isn’t an easy task, but luckily, you have lots of experience dealing with bad feelings and nefarious characters to help you get through it. Still, parts of this mission can be a bit tricky to manage on your own, so here’s a complete walkthrough for the Green Monster, Inc. quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How to complete Green Monster, Inc. in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Gather ingredients for an Atomically Spicy Joyful Meal
Ralph starts by asking you to cook an Atomically Spicy Joyful Meal he wants to give Sulley. This sounds a bit suspicious, but he claims his intentions are pure, so you need to work on gathering the ingredients for it.
- Wheat – Can be planted and grown using Wheat Seeds, which can be bought from Goofy’s stall in the Peaceful Meadow biome for one Star Coin.
- Raspberry – Can be picked from Raspberry Bushes. There are six in total. Two start off in the Plaza and four start off in the Peaceful Meadow. You may have moved them elsewhere, so if you’re unsure where they’re at now, check the Collection page to see which biome is listed by this ingredient.
- Blueberry – Can be picked from Blueberry Bushes. There are five bushes in your valley, and two of them originally spawn in the Dazzle Beach region, while the other four start off in the Forest of Valor. These bushes can be freely moved elsewhere, too.
- Banana – Can be picked from Banana Trees. When you first start off, three can be found around the Dazzle Beach area, and two are in the Peaceful Meadow. These trees can be moved anywhere.
- SUPER Spicy Chili Pepper – Ralph gives this item to you right at the start of the quest.
Cook an Atomically Spicy Joyful Meal
Once you’ve got all of the required ingredients, head to a cooking station to toss all five items in. As soon as you do, you’ll officially make the Atomically Spicy Joyful Meal dish. Meet up with Ralph to give it to him once you’re done.
Head to the Dreamscape to check on the picnic with Ralph
Now that the meal is made, it’s time for the picnic. This event is taking place in the Dreamscape, so head there to check and see how it’s going. You can access the Dreamscape by entering The Forgotten’s treehouse, which is in the middle of the Forgotten Lands biome.
Upon arriving in the Dreamscape, listen to Vanellope and Sulley try the food while Ralph attempts to hide behind a cardboard rock in the background. It’s way too spicy, and the Spicy Lemonade Ralph gave them to go with it is only making things worse. Chat with Vanellope to discuss the situation.
Ask The Forgotten for guidance about dark stuff
Turns out, Ralph intentionally sabotaged the meal out of jealousy over Vanellope befriending Sulley, even though he was also invited to be a part of it. You’re not quite sure how to help him work through these feelings, so seek out your darker counterpart, The Forgotten, to ask for guidance.
Go inside the Dark Castle
The Forgotten knows quite a bit about jealousy, and volunteers to help mend the situation. Head to the Dark Castle to meet up with them and Ralph. You can visit the Dark Castle by heading through the shadowy portal in the Plaza, close to the wishing well. Once you’re inside the castle, talk to The Forgotten.
Complete the Puzzle Orb in the Dark Castle
Ralph’s dark feelings cause a Memory Shard to spawn, and upon interacting with it, you’re prompted to complete Ralph’s Jealousy Puzzle Orb. Click on each of the pieces on the left side, then rotate and place them in the correct spot on the right. If you’re struggling to figure out where any of them go, you can match up the pieces with the image below.
Talk to Ralph in Dreamlight Valley
Finishing the puzzle helps Ralph express and understand his feelings, and he’s now ready to apologize to Sulley about how he acted. Head back to the main valley, then meet up with Ralph to chat with him and Sulley.
Gather materials to build Vanellope’s surprise
Ralph and Sulley are friends now, but Ralph still has to make up with Vanellope. He wants to plan a special surprise for her, so you’re tasked with gathering materials to build Vanellope’s surprise.
- 20 Dry Wood – Spawns on the ground near trees in the Sunlit Plateau, Frosted Heights, and Forgotten Lands biomes. If you have Wishblossom Ranch, you can also find it around trees in Wishing Alps.
- 15 Iron Ore – Can be mined from rock nodes around certain areas, including Sunlit Plateau, Forest of Valor, Glade of Trust, Frosted Heights, Forgotten Lands, and the Vitalys Mine. If you have Storybook Vale, you can also find some in The Bind and Everafter.
- 10 Glass – Can be crafted using five Sand and one Coal Ore.
- One Diamond – Can be mined from rock nodes in the Forgotten Lands.
- One Arcade Pixel – Ralph gave this item to you during the quest step right before this one.
Craft Vanellope’s surprise at a crafting station
Once you have all of the items you need, head to a crafting station. Select the Ralph quest icon followed by the Double Dance Arcade Machine item. Craft this item, then place it down somewhere in the valley. Then, chat with Ralph as he makes up with Vanellope. The Green Monster, Inc. quest will then be complete.
