Development on Apotheon continues to chug along, and now we have learned that it’s heading to the PlayStation 4 in the future. According to the development post, the majority of the work has been done by two people, and it’s taken them almost three years to realize their vision.

They note that the combat for this 2D platformer will not be based around button-mashing, and instead with present a number of combos, as well as jumping, blocking, and rolling. So yeah, sounds right at home on consoles!
