Grand Theft Auto V looks amazing in miniature

Rockstar’s Editor Mode meets tilt-shift

Recommended Videos

If you thought “tilt-shift” photography was just a twee trend of the moment a few years ago and you’d actually be surprised to see it name checked today, well, you’re not wrong, even if the technique existed long before its time as an internet phenomenon and will exist long past it, too.

YouTube’s Ehmaysi does it to great effect here, though. I was just having this conversation again with a friend recently: I think Grand Theft Auto V fails in a few ways, but the level of detail in the world is really something else and can keep me roaming around, avoiding single-player missions, dialogue, and most everything else. Punching cars in the middle of a four way intersection is also good.
