Microsoft delivered a solid outing at E3 this year. Most of the games where already known — save for Forza Horizon 3 and zombie games State of Decay 2 and the new Dead Rising — but the company (mostly) learned to zip up and show games. And so we got extended looks at a lot of what was announced at the conference last year: ReCore, Sea of Thieves, Gears 4 War. The show stealer was hardware, bookended by a a much slimmer Xbox One and a holiday 2017 release for “Project Scorpio,” a 4K-capable Xbox One.
