This is what Xbox Live is all about folks: bringing gamers from all across the world together to chainsaw, curb-stomp, and grenade tag each other in an all out blood bath.
Registration for the Gears of War 2007 Global Xbox Live Tournament begins March 29 (today) and goes through April 29. This should give you plenty of time to sign up as the registration process is short and straightforward.
After signing up for the tournament, you will have from April 9 – May 6 to rack up your individual leaderboard score. The 11 highest scoring players will receive the grand prize, a trip for two to Prague to compete in the Grand Final in July.
Additionally, the top four players from each participating country will win a three-day, two-night trip to their country’s 2007 World Cyber Games National Championship. For a more detailed look at the tournament prizes, see the official press release.
