If Mega Man were in Ebenezer Scrooge’s place, he wouldn’t allow himself to get strung along a redemption journey by a bunch of weaksauce spirits. Naw, he’d blow the sh*t out of ’em and call it a night!
That’s exactly what Mega Man sprite repository Sprites Inc. has done with this special holiday-themed fan game. This bastardization of the Dickens classic repurposes the four spirits (including the ghost of Scrooge’s old business partner, Jacob Marley) as Robot Masters under the command of a deranged Santa, a very obviously drunk Dr. Light. Mega’s got no time for this malarkey, so he skips the levels and jumps straight to the boss battles.
It’s a very short and humorous treat. Give it a spin! What else are you gonna do this weekend, anyway?
