You know how Epic’s Cliff Bleszinksi was supposed to show off a game on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon? But then he didn’t because Justin Bieber shook his hair in Fallon’s direction and bumped the designer from the schedule?
Oh, well he was going to show off a trailer for Gears of War 3. Surprise, right? Confirmation comes from an ad that was seen on Xbox LIVE, an ad that apparently was supposed to be timed with Bleszinski’s television appearance. See all of this trouble that Bieber is causing?
The ad pegs Gears of War 3’s release for April 2011, which lends even more credence to the rumors we heard earlier this year which also had the game’s trailer premiering on April 8. (Again, this prophecy would have come to fruition had it not been for Justin Bieber.) The source of the date and reveal rumors may have also dropped gameplay details, including mech suits and Locusts with tentacles.
