Epic Games has once again used the Game Developers Conference to show off Unreal Engine 4. In this new “Infiltrator” demonstration video, we’re shown a gritty world that, while I don’t think it showcases the visual fidelity of the engine as well as it could, does look like an interesting premise for a full game. According to Epic co-founder Mark Rein, the demo is running on a single, off-the-shelf NVIDIA GTX 680.

Although Unreal Engine games aren’t tied down to one specific color palette, enough of them can be generally described as looking brown that a that common theme has emerged. That hasn’t really changed here today with this demo, which is a bit of a letdown. Show us some color, Epic!
