Games from 1984 hit Capcom Arcade Cabinet

1942, SonSon and Pirate Ship Higemaru

If you caught our review of Capcom Arcade Cabinet you’ll know that my favorite titles from the entire selection were Pirate Ship Higemaru, SonSon, and 1942. Guess what? All three of these titles are available this week. They make up Pack #5 for Capcom  Arcade Cabinet, available today on the PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Arcade in North America for $9.99, or 800 Microsoft Points. Our European friends can download them tomorrow.

All three of these games are from the year 1984. A good year for games. A year I actually remember. I was actually of prime videogame playing age by then, and I had my Famicom already. I’m old.

The video above shows all three games in action. Again, Higemaru has a sort of Bomberman vibe, except with more facial hair and striped shirts.
