Game Boy inducted into National Toy Hall of Fame

Recommended Videos

Did you know there was a National Toy Hall of Fame at Strong Nation Museum of Play in Rochester, New York? True story!

Inducted last year into the Toy Hall of Fame was the Stick (seriously?), and this year it’s joined by a few other toys you might have heard of — the ball, Fisher Price’s “Big Wheel,” and Nintendo’s Game Boy! Congratulations, Nintendo! Your hand held is as cool and fun as Lincoln Logs, LEGOs, the rocking horse, Raggedy Ann and Andy, the Slinky, Silly Putty, and the Easy-Bake Oven.

Anyone have any classic Game Boy stories? You first memories of the handheld? Do tell!
