QCF Design’s award-winning Desktop Dungeons was a free, indie puzzle-roguelike thing I got madly (and secretly) addicted to, then bothered to tell none of you about. The original version is still available in all of its pixelated glory, and I urge you to try it. There’s much news to discuss, however.
PC and Mac pre-orders are open for the new-and-improved Desktop Dungeons, which is quite the step up visually from its freeware brethren. QCF also states that getting on Steam is the plan, and more versions — web, Android, and iPhone, to be exact — are on the horizon.
This is going to be awesome, guys. Heck, it already is.
