Full Control’s Jagged Alliance: Flashback detailed

Kickstarter for new game is live

Space Hulk developer Full Control had already shared its plan to work on Jagged Alliance with promises of a turn-based game that would stay true to the beloved tactical series. Now, we’ve got the proper announcement for Flashback, the new title that will focus on the founding of mercenary organization A.I.M. — if funded, that is. You knew this was coming.

Jagged Alliance 2 was possibly the game that made me into a turn-based fan,” said Full Control CEO Thomas Lund. “And this has driven myself into creating a company that actually makes this type of game even though the genre has been declared dead many times.”

Lund continues: “We’ve realized that the only way to stay both independent and realize our vision of the game is by engaging you as a community.” Which is another way of saying “Kickstarter campaign.” At $350,000, I feel reasonably confident that Flashback will bring in the necessary funds to move forward. Full Control’s heart seems like it’s in the right place, at least.
