Friendly reminder: Dark Souls is free on Games with Gold first of June

I’ve heard some people like that game

It’s about that time of month when Microsoft clears its throat and lets everyone know what the upcoming titles in the Games with Gold program are going to be. But, it’s already done that earlier in May, and Jordan already told you about it. But, that feels like a million years ago, and chances are you got lost gazing into Jordan’s dreamy avatar, so here’s a quick reminder.

On June 1, Xbox Live Gold subscribers will be able to download Dark Souls for free. June 16 ends the Souls opportunity, and sees Charlie Murder and Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition take over. Sometime this month, Max: The Curse of Brotherhood and Halo: Spartan Assault will be free on Xbox One, but those dates aren’t known yet.
