Friday Night Fights: 4th of July edition

Independence Day the videogame: awful, just awful. Independence day … the day: full of blinding fireworks, painfully loud noises, and possibly some tasty grilled food.

Since you most likely wouldn’t be reading this if you were celebrating Independence day with your family, I’m going to go ahead and assume you’re up for spending your 4th of July playing games with the rest of us.

Hit the jump for the hosts and game start times as always, or feel free to ping us if you would like to be a host.

[Thanks, bunnyrabbit2, CaffeinePowered, Mushman, and RedRabbit]

Mini-guide for meeting up with Dtoiders for Super Smash Bros. Brawl or Mario Kart Wii:

The IRC way: head on over to this Web site (or start up your own IRC client) and type “/join #dtoid-brawl” (or even #destructoid) without the quotation marks.

The Ventrilo way: download and install Vent. Then use the following info to log onto Dtoid’s server:

• Port: 3790
• Password: None

Once you’re in, you’ll need to use the password “ftw” to access the Social Lounge.

The 360 way: use your Xbox 360 to chat with people on your friends list. Steam or an IM client will work fine too.

  • Agent MOO: Maximum Overdeath
  • Team Fortress 2:
If you own a TF2 server and would like to get the word out, please feel free to do so by making a comment on this post or by creating a community blog. If you don’t understand why I’m not listing servers here, then you probably missed out on all of the hostility that went down.

The following hosts are European, and may or may not still be hosting by the time you read this. Alternatively, if you want to get your gaming done earlier on, these are the people you’ll want to talk to.
