Freebie alert: World at War map ‘Makin Day’ up on XBL Marketplace, PSN

Recommended Videos

Remember how Call of Duty: World at War PC players got the map “Makin Day” for free earlier this month? Yeah, well now it’s your turn, console owners.

As you can clearly see above, Makin Day is like the map Makin, but you can actually see what’s going on thanks to the added sunlight. Additionally, “some paths and cover have been modified,” although the announcement didn’t go into specifics.

PlayStation 3 owners can get the map as a part of a new patch, while Xbox 360 players will have to grab it from the Xbox LIVE Marketplace, because it’s apparently not included in the title update. Sound good?
