Monster RPG 2 is an old school, simplistic, thoroughly unpretentious App and, of course, it’s totally free today.
It’s a game with more than a few nods to the original Final Fantasy games, featuring random battles, turn-based combat, and a simple “save the world from evil” plot. The controls are a little dodgy, but it provides a very retro RPG experience that genre fans ought to check out. The ability to use your own songs as background music helps too!
If you remember the good old days of Final Fantasy, then check it out.
