The 2026 installment of Fortnitemares is coming to an end, which means it’s nearly time for the next era of Fortnite to begin. The next Fortnite season promises to be different from anything we’ve seen before with the arrival of the Treasure Hunters mini-season.

Although this update won’t be a full-on season, it’s still a pretty substantial shift for the island, with new content to explore for every area of the game. It’s quite a lot to look forward to, so to ensure you’re ready to jump in as soon as it’s possible to do so, here’s the exact time and date when Fortnite Treasure Hunters starts.

The Treasure Hunters mini-season update for Fortnite is confirmed to go live on Nov. 1 after Fortnitemares 2026 ends on Oct. 31. This date is listed on the official Fortnite X (formerly Twitter) page, and the end date for Fortnitemares is displayed at the bottom of the seasonal battle pass.

An official launch time for Treasure Hunters hasn’t been shared and likely won’t be prior to launch. Luckily, though, all Fortnite updates stick to a fairly reliable and predictable schedule.

Thanks to this, we know it’s very likely Fortnite will head into downtime around 3am CT and be down for maintenance for a few hours afterward. The game will then come online for the new mini-season sometime around 6am CT.

Maintenance periods can always last for shorter or longer than expected. Generally, though, the vast majority of Fortnite updates roll out around this time, so we’ve set our countdown to it.
